Reflection

Process

To write the paper “Suspension Bridges vs. Beam Bridges,” we took a structured method that

began with a review of the current literature on both bridge types. We assigned assignments to

the group members based on their strengths and areas of interest. My involvement entailed

gathering all of our material for the abstract and the overall arrangement of the paper. Different

positions required different tasks, and we occasionally had to wait for one of us to finish their

segment before beginning their own.

Collaboration

Our group worked well together, with each member contributing significantly to their allotted

portions. Our research and data collection procedures were similar, but we took different

approaches to writing and analysis. For example, while I focused on empirical aspects, others

focused on theoretical frameworks and literature synthesis. This variety of techniques

strengthened our final article, allowing us to thoroughly cover all relevant topics.

Standards and Meeting Them

We set high standards for this post, focusing on rigorous research, reliable data collection, and

clear, professional writing. Personally, I wanted to make sure that the experimental protocols

were meticulously followed and documented. I feel I reached these standards, and responses

from my groupmates showed that they were pleased with my contributions. We worked together

to ensure that our final article fulfilled our individual and group quality and rigor standards.

Grading and Justification

If I had to grade this paper, I’d give it a B+. The work is well-researched, the experiment is

meticulously documented, and the findings are clearly presented and analyzed. Minor areas for

development include deeper analysis in some sections and more seamless integration of the

various parts produced by different group members. These are not huge faults, but correcting

them could help the paper move from excellent to extraordinary.

Challenges

One of the issues we faced was scheduling schedules for group meetings and discussions.

Balancing this endeavor with other academic commitments was also difficult, resulting in some

rushed passages in early drafts. However, we were able to overcome them through efficient

communication and time management.

Future Goals

For the next project, I’d like to improve the cohesion and coherence of portions authored by

various group members. This can be accomplished by assigning additional time for peer reviews

and collaborative editing sessions, which will ensure a consistent writing style and a smooth flow

throughout the article. In addition, I intend to go deeper into the theoretical implications of our

findings to provide a more thorough discussion and conclusion.
